Welcome to Polka Dot Dogs! Where dogs have room to run!
Polka Dot Dogs is located in the Heights and is easy to get to from almost any freeway.

We offer something that not many other boarding facilities can offer….S P A C E! .Your dog will love the big backyard that they visit several times a day to play, romp and run! There are two pools with clean cool water for your dogs to relax in while playing.

We do not have traditional kennel runs for boarding. We have open rooms where your dog will stay with other dogs their same size and temperament. We do have crates on hand for owners who want their dogs crated. We can also crate dogs who do not get along with other pups. If space allows your dog(s) can have their own private room. While other facilities only allow your pup to go outside to eliminate we include your dog in our daycare program at no additional cost. That’s right while your dog is here he will play all day! This will ease that guilty feeling you have about boarding your dog.

Polka Dot Dogs was opened in the summer of 2010 by owner Susan M. Dooley.   Susan has owned and operated a successful pet sitting business for 10 years and has extensive knowledge of caring for dogs.  She lives in Oak Forest with her husband, children, and 3 dogs.

Come by anytime to check out Polka Dot Dogs.  The staff is eager to meet you!

While your dog is here they will have access to our other amenities, one being a full service grooming salon.  We recommend that you schedule a bath on their last day. Remember they will be playing outside and can get dirty.

Our facility is cleaned with professional animal friendly chemicals throughout the day. We also have an air purifying system that removes harmful bacteria and odors. These steps we take all day everyday aides in keeping your dog healthy while boarding.

Polka Dot Dogs has earned Level 1 certification through Outstanding Pet Care University (OPCU), the leading provider of education and training for pet care professionals.  Our ENTIRE STAFF is certified through Outstanding Pet Care University’s certification program, which is the only certification for pet care professionals working in the pet boarding, doggie daycare, and grooming industries.  Education and certification demonstrates a strong commitment to the highest standards of care and safety for pets, as well as service standards for pet owners.
